Ammerland's Lot at BBAG Yearling Sale

Ammerland stud is pleased to present the five exciting yearlings that will be entering the showing ring at this year’s BBAG Yearling Sale on August 31 in Iffezheim:

Lot 129 is a bay filly by Coolmore's leading first-season sire in New Zealand POWER out of the Montjeu-mare BRISTOL BAY, who is also responsible for Listed winner BAY OF POETS. Bristol Bay belongs to the top dam line around champion mare BRITANNIA, who brought the German Derby winners BORGIA and BOREAL and whose daughter BOUGAINVILLEA is responsible for the Italian champion stayer BURMA GOLD. Lot 143 is a brown-grey filly out of Hurricane Run-daughter DRAWN TO RUN whose second dam is the very successful DIBENOISE, dam of nine winners amongst them G1 Prix Ganay winner CORRE CAMINOS and G1 Criterium de Saint-Cloud winner RECITAL. Sire of the filly is the Monsun-son MAXIOS. A full sister to the filly offered here just broke her maiden at her second time out in impressive fashion. Yet another bay filly is Lot 155. She is by the Monsun-son MAXIOS out of Listed winner HIGH HEAT who is from the successful dam line around HOLD ON who is responsible for the champion race horse and successful sire HURRICANE RUN.

From that same family is HEATHER ROSE who is a full sister to HURRICANE RUN and whose sixth foal is Lot 222, a bay filly by Coolmore's triple G1 winner EXCELEBRATION who produced G1 winner BARNEY ROY and multiple Stakes performers with his first crop. Lot 228 is a dark brown colt by MAXIOS out of the Hurricane Run-daughter LAVANDE VIOLET, a half-sister to sire LOPE DE VEGA whose dam LADY VETTORI is G1-placed dam of nine winners, including five stakes winners. Yet another colt is Lot 248, only the second foal out of PURPLE PEARL whose dam PEARL SKY was a G3 winner in France. Sire is the World Champion 3YO 2011 NATHANIEL who produced 21 Stakes winners to this date along with the 5-time G1 winner and Arc heroine ENABLE.
