Germany's carnival season sees foalings times four
Germany's carnival season proved a great time for international deliveries this year when Ammerland's band of broodmares recorded a quadruple delivery within only a few days. G2 winner ROYAL SOLITAIRE (photo) delivered her second foal, a bay colt by British top sire NATHANIEL on carnival Friday. The following day, we delighted in a double Irish delivery when SEVENNA foaled a colt by Coolmore's CAMELOT and AIGRETTE GARZETTE a filly by Ballylinch's NEW BAY. A few days prior, LOPE DE VEGA's half-sister LIGHT THE STARS had already foaled a filly by Coolmore's NO NAY NEVER.
