Listed win for GREY LION in Queensland Cup at Doomben

Former Ammerland runner GREY LION obviously experiences something like a second spring in the Southern Hemisphere's spring season. The eight-year-old proved today that he still enjoys running and winning when taking the AUSD125,000 Queensland Cup at Doomben under Robbie Fradd. The son of Galileo out of our G1 winner GREY LILAS showed a gutsy effort in the Listed race over 2200m and secured a tight win by a quaerter of a length.
