Arqana draft headed by top prospect from LOPE DE VEGA family

This year's draft of Ammerland bred yearlings for the Arqana Yearling Sale taking place from 14 to 16 of August in Deauville is four heads strong and includes two fillies and two colts. The group of interesting prospects is headed by a No Nay Never-filly out of a Group-placed sister to top sire LOPE DE VEGA (Lot 39). Her half-sister Lady Loulou achieved a top price at last year's Arqana September Yearling Sale. The second filly (Lot 335) is out of a daughter of BORGIA from the highly successful family of the classic winners BRITANNIA, BOREAL and BURMA GOLD.

An appealing offer is a Frankel-colt with Lot 139, the first product of the Stakes-placed BALTIC DUCHESS, a 3/4 sister to G1 winner BALTIC BARONESS, again from the top family of the classic winners BRITANNIA, BOREAL and BORGIA. The second colt (Lot 273) is a very intriguing prospect by the Sire of Sires Sea The Stars. He is out of the G2-placed SAVANNE from the family of the great SCHWARZGOLD, which also includes the two-time G1 winner SILSOL and the G2 Schwarzgold winner SCATINA.
