FOREST FAIRY first Black Type winner for WALDGEIST

She is from the first crop of our Arc hero WALDGEIST, and she could be on the way to classic laurels now. Three-year-old FOREST FAIRY delivered a thrilling run in the 120,000 GBP Cheshire Oaks at Chester yesterday to remain unbeaten in two starts. The late blooming filly had Rossa Ryan on board when she edged out her rivals in the 2,300 metres Listed race to become the first Black Type winner for her sire.
FOREST FAIRY has ties to Ammerland beyond her Arc winning sire, as the chestnut is out of the LOPE DE VEGA mare BAHAMA GIRL, an Ammerland-bred granddaughter of the great BORGIA.
