Rudi Widmann

One of the most successful dressage trainers in Bavaria, Rudi Widmann has successfully trained many young horses up to the level of Grand Prix.

A recipient of the German Golden Rider's Award, Rudi has won more than 100 dressage competitions at the S and Grand Prix levels.

His successes include winning the Bavarian Championship, as well as multiple wins in the Upper Bavarian Championship. Additionally, Rudi has won the Bavarian competition series "Stars von Morgen" on several occasions.

With his most promising young horses, Rudi has had numerous successes at the yearly "Bundeschampionat" in Warendorf, Germany as well as at the World Championship for young horses.

Since his childhood, Rudi's main passion was riding horses. He therefore considers himself extremely lucky to have been able to translate this passion into a fulfilling and successful riding career.

In the spring of 2016, Rudi and his team, including his loyal dog Skipper, joined Gestüt Ammerland, where he finds optimal conditions to continue his passion for training dressage horses.
