GREY LILAS granddaughter scores at Leopardstown on second time out

Three-year-old LOPE DE LILAS turned her second career outing into a formidable win at Leopardstown today. The filly by LOPE DE VEGA edged out her rivals in a maiden race over 2,000 metres and shone with a great turn of foot in the final phase of the race. Willie Mullins trains LOPE DE LILAS, who is a grand daughter of Gr.1 Prix de l'Opera runner-up GREY LILAS and was a sale for us at the Arqana in 2022.
